An election is uncontested (and validly nominated candidates automatically become Councillors on 7 May 2024 without a contest) if either:

not enough valid nominations to fill the vacant seat(s) are received
only enough valid nominations to fill the vacant seat(s) are received
all valid nominations are properly withdrawn by the deadline except enough to fill the vacant seat(s)

The deadline for nominations to be received for these elections was 4pm on 5 April 2024.
